The newest CCD video technology improvements have decreased the size and price while improving the quality of video cameras and monitors.
Individual Component Systems
For the highest quality system, the camera, lens, enclosure, and mounting are purchased separately along with the video monitor. We normally use this system on our Remote Probe Systems when the people sampling the trucks can not visually see the truck. These cameras help avoid mismatching the sample and the truck. There are many options available including pan/tilt & zoom.

Complete Camera Systems
Also available are compete compact 'bullet' cameras. These cameras are small (about 1 1/2" diameter x 2 1/2" long), water-proof, very durable, and provide a high quality picture. These cameras are available in Color and we commonly use them as a Probe Mounted Camera on our Shuttle Grain Probe when the probe operator can not see the top of the truck.

These cameras operate on 12VDC with 60 ft. of cord (longer lengths available). We have compete Color bullet cameras with 15" monitors (other sizes available) as a Camera Kit which can be easily installed to monitor rail load outs, traffic, security systems, or with our generic mounting bracket, they can be installed on brand 'X' grain probes as an Probe Mounted Camera.
