No damaging the grain from opening and closing the sample head doors.
Air flowing through the stinger transports the grain sample.
As the probe is pushed down, the grain forced up inside the tip is caught in the air flow and drawn in to the sample catch box.
The amount of air flowing through the stinger is preset to a standard amount at the factory, but can be field adjusted if required, providing a very accurate and representative sample of the load.
